Northside Middle School was established in 1958. The school is in Samantha, Alabama, which is located in the northern section of Tuscaloosa County near the Fayette County line. Northside Middle School prides itself in being in a close-knit community. Due to the close proximity of our schools, we have unparalleled cooperation between the elementary, middle, and high schools' administration and staff. This plays an important part with the vertical alignment of curriculum and common community goals in our schools. Northside Middle has 38 faculty and staff members. We have 26 highly qualified teachers serving grades 6,7, and 8. Our student enrollment is approximately 405. We also have one group of Algebra I students being served by the high school. We are part of the Northside High School Cluster in the Tuscaloosa County School System, which includes; Walker Elementary, Northside Middle, and Northside High School. All 3 schools administrators work together by meeting regularly to stay up to date on current events going on in the community
